Oh What a Season... some of our favourite photos

HAIDA GWAII  We finished up in Haida Gwaii on a high note with our Crew and the last group of the season attending the Gwaii Haanas Legacy Pole raising in remote Windy Bay on Lyell Island. What an honour and a privilege - See the video here...

... a rare encounter!

Anyone who knows the west coast of British Columbia and Alaska knows how special a visit from a coastal wolf is. Theses elusive creatures largely stay clear of human interactions and are very difficult to spot, blending in so well with their surroundings.

On occasion though, we have some very unique encounters - as though these wolves have granted us "permission" to be in their presence. The group traveling on our first trip into the Great Bear Rainforest had such an experience. A real highlight for these lucky folks!
